Landscape Design: Where To Start?

I think that landscaping activity around your home can be an interesting hobby and easy. It is my intention to make it easier for the public landscape projects. Usually, we let the contractor determine what plant, how much and where want to plant, and we forget that the more trees he planted another large billed from him. I see a lot of people that filled their yard with trees and never taken care of and did not know the name as well. Finally abandoned unwanted trees were planted.

Generally this article goes to the public who do not have the training and experience of landscape design. It was more referring to the 'home' but can be used to ' school ', ' office ', ' factory ' or such a like.

Let's start: First of all, make sure all family members involved. Who knows some of our family members who have a latent artistic talent in landscaping ideas? Or they see the house that caught the attention of others.  In the discussion, put right some of the criteria that make a guide in the discussion.

Brainstorming is the best first step to get all good landscaping ideas. Remember or note the size of the plant or tree when it matures. As we will be living for another 10 or 20 years, so imagine the height or size of the tree is 10-20 years. Can you imagine the fan banana trees in a 20 × 70 foot house? Or Araucaria trees 30 feet tall terraced houses? Thus we need to plan wisely.

Increase our level of care could be important. If you are a busy family and ' less hard ' so do not look for trees, grass or plants that need a lot of care. Pay attention to the neighborhood as well. Is the theme or landscape tree would look awkward with the neighboring houses?

For homes that have a small area, which can be planted in pots on the shelf tiered layout, or in suspension can give more plants in a smaller space. Or you can use the roof pergola with vines as Bougainville.

Match the theme of the landscape with your family. Your home may have a design or color theme, so do not forget to match your landscape with the theme of your home. Or you have to match your home with your landscape theme.  Does your family have special needs? Wider path may be in need for people in wheelchairs. Or thorny plants not for families with children happily.

Budget your planning and maybe this should be the first criteria but not later discussion so no fun when the story about the money first. If you have gone through the above steps without drama, it means that other people are not interested or you have used the veto power at every level of the discussion.
